An online coaching app for remote fitness coaches
Coach clients you rarely see in person. Send the program, follow every session and keep check-ins moving from your phone.
What remote coaching needs
When you are not in the room, the app has to do the work of the session. Clients need to know exactly what to do today, you need to see what happened, and both of you need a simple way to talk about it. TrainersBook is built around that loop.
How online coaching works in TrainersBook
- Set the plan. Give the client goals, a program and nutrition targets.
- The client trains. They follow the plan on their phone and log sets, reps and weight as they go.
- You follow up. See what was done, spot who is falling behind and reply in one inbox.
- Review technique. Clients send videos, and you can record coached feedback on top of them in Coach Studio.
- Adjust. Change the plan based on real numbers, with FitAI suggesting changes for you to approve.
Keeping remote clients engaged
Clients see weekly sessions, total sets and goal streaks on their home screen, and can earn levels such as Gold and Platinum based on how consistently they train. They can also add friends and compete in challenges on streaks, workouts or a lift. Recurring check-ins can be scheduled so nobody drops off your radar. See our guide to client check-in questions.
Common questions
Can I use it for both in-person and online clients?
Yes. The same app covers both, and sessions can be logged by the client or by you.
Do my clients need the app too?
Yes. You create an account for each client, and they log in on their own phone to follow the plan, log training and food, and message you.
Is it available now?
Not yet. TrainersBook is coming to iPhone and Android. A private beta is running with invited testers, and the waitlist hears about the launch first.
